Ever want to kiss your mailman?

My fabulous mail carrier brought me another check today. This one from Toluna, formerly Your2Cents, and for $10.00. This check officially takes me past my goal for the month in receipts where I needed $44.55, I have $45.29. That is right! I am working on the last $44.55 needed by January 15Th of 2010 to call the goal complete and met. The kicker is none of these dollars received so far this month, were in my planned A/R.

Monthly goal to achieve 6 fully funded streams = $44.55
Total received November to date = $45.29
Total November A/R = $57.50
Total amount needed to reach goal = $89.09
Total Received = $45.29
Balance to goal = $43.80

2 Pinecone Research Payments Received

Just as always Pinecone followed through. I am now sitting with $6 more dollars then I had on Thursday! This brings my numbers to the point where success is guaranteed. There comes a tranquil feeling from knowing the goal is within reach.

Monthly goal to achieve 6 fully funded streams = $44.55
Total received November to date = $35.29
Total November A/R = $57.50
Total amount needed to reach goal = $89.09
Total Received = $35.29
Balance to goal = $53.80

As you can see when I transfer Social Sparks $57.50 on November 30th, I will have $3.70 to spare. I have decided to make some changes, because it is time and I will be forfeiting any incoming dollars from PPP. More on this later.

Delivery

Izea, the company that runs Social Spark and PayPerPost, just sent me a package for Thanksgiving. I love packages and rushed so fast to open it. I know I am an idiot, but I just love getting things. :-)

Inside there were two FREE things. The first is a bottle of Jones Soda called Tofurky & Gravy Soda. You are going to have to wait to hear how it tastes, since I have to chill it first. Ooooowwww cold turkey and gravy, sounds appetizing right? The second was a hilarious turkey hat. I am thinking of taking this hat to our annual Turkey Trot! Too Fun!

Thank you IZEA!!!

Yippee good news!

I am totally excited about the fact that Social Spark corrected my account and paid me for my post. I am not sure why these things happen but am really excited that they fixed it in 24 hours. SWEET! This means I will, if the last two posts are paid according to the books, receive the $57.50 to fill in my residual emergency streams.

Plus, last night I received two opportunities from Pinecone Research. I just Pinecone. They are my favorite, even with the smaller payouts. I should receive $6 more dollars towards my goal today.

Between Social Spark and Pinecone I will be surpassing my goal by $3.70. With survey cash still coming in. Yippee! I will not contribute to the residual emergency streams the extra cash. This money is either going to help with Christmas spending or be applied to debt. Maybe they are one and the same.

Financial happenings

I participated in a Mindfield survey and decided to check my account balance. Mindfield requires a $5 minimum for payment and I have $9. I put in for a PayPal payment and it says 1-2 weeks for payment. I'm not sure why it will take so long. This will cover the $7.50 that Social Spark is stripping from me, for no good reason.

Social Spark must have flaws in their system somewhere. They do this quite frequently where they say I have no disclosure badge. Which I do. I have full site disclosures and in this particular instance one on the post in question. Not sure why they come up with nothing. :(

So, as I see it I have these dollars on their way to me:

  • Social Spark - $50 ($57.50 after they re-instate for their error)
  • PPP - $2.50
  • Mindfield - $9
  • SurveySavvy - $16

With a need of only $59.80, this $77.50 will seal my fate. :-)

I believe I will stop this road at the $3k mark and divert the cash to pay down other things. Time will tell.

I sped up a payment

Recently Opinion Outpost created options, you can get a snail mail check in 4-8 weeks or get an Amazon Certificate on the spot. Yesterday I opted for the Amazon Certificate. I have 2 more books to buy for my first semester of college and I wanted fast access to my earnings. Don't worry I have transferred $10 from our spending cash to cover the money in the Residual Emergency Stream cash. I would be spending the dollars on my textbooks anyway.
Monthly goal to achieve 6 fully funded streams = $44.55
Total received November to date = $29.29
Total November A/R = $57.50
Total amount needed to reach goal = $89.09
Total Received = $29.29
Balance to goal = $59.80

With the dollars expected from Social Spark at the end of the month, I am only $2.30 away from completing my goal. YIPPEE! I may wrap this up by November 30Th, if Pinecone or some other survey company steps in with a hand. :-)

I think SurveySavvy is going to secure my success. I have $16 coming from them. I just can not remember what kind of payout I put in for. At any rate, it will not be less then $3. :-)

Letting the money lie

I did not post the glorious news of the creation of my fourth residual emergency stream certificate of deposit. With good reason, in my opinion. Currently the 6 month certificate of deposits at ING Direct are paying 1.25%, when the regular savings account is 1.30%. Is it only me or do you see something wrong with this picture? I absolutely refuse to 'lock' my money up when it can earn more with freedom.

This does not mean I am breaking free of the plan. The money will remain as part of my residual emergency stream, either in ING Direct or as a certificate at another bank with better rates that accepts lower balances for those rates ($500). :-) I should have been shopping earlier, but no harm, no foul, no rushed commitments.

Residual Emergency Streams:

  • Stream 1 - $500 @ 1.65% = 70¢ income this month
  • Stream 2 - $500 @ 1.55% = 65¢ income this month
  • Stream 3 - $500 @ 1.55% = 65¢ income this month

Am I rich now? That is $2 in income for the month with only 3 streams. :-) The $1430.20 which is waiting for a home in a stream, but working as it waits in the ING Direct Account is earning me 5¢ a day and another $1.53 a month. These low rates suck! How am I supposed to build wealth on this?

If you are one of the few without an ING DIRECT account, please, oh please email me and I will send you a link to get started and earn a $25 (10%) bonus on your opening balance of $250. Plus you can help me reach my goals in the residual streams. :-)

Safe to say

I believe it is safe to say I will achieve my goal. I received another $3 payment from Pinecone Research on Friday and I realized that since I held back $15 from Social Spark last month I have $57.50 to collect by the end of November. This means I only need $12.30 more collected by January 15Th. Definitely doable with surveys.

Once Opinion Outpost clears up an issue a survey had, I have $11.60 receivable from them. I also have money scheduled from PPP, Mindfield, Toluna, Survey Savvy and MySurvey. Looks to me like this task is in the books as completed!

Monthly goal to achieve 6 fully funded streams = $44.55
Total received November to date = $19.29
Total November A/R = $57.50
Total amount needed to reach goal = $89.09
Total Received = $19.29
Balance to goal = $69.80

Ending my affiliation

The straw has been placed on my back. I find this both liberating and a tiny bit sad. After this month I will no longer be receiving or earning income from Social Spark. This is good, no more posts for them and more free time. I do prefer surveys anyway. This does mean a serious dip in income, but not from this decision, so to speak. Social Spark has not had any opportunities worth sharing all month. They have had opportunities, but they are all repeats about stem-cell, internet service and blah, blah, blah.

What was the last straw?

I was paid today and my account reached the $20 mark for withdraw. Remember I saved the last post last month so that I could get an earlier payout. Well, when I went to request the payout. Social Spark put a huge notice across my screen, and I mean HUGE that says I need $50 to withdraw. Those sumbeoches!

Only blessing is that I DID NOT withdraw that payout at the end of last month. I will be able to withdraw all my earnings and be done with them at the month end. Thank God! Unless they decide to up the amount again - evil communists!
