The long awaited payment arrived

In my mailbox on Saturday was the payment from Your2Cents I ordered back in April. I am still owed a couple dollars from Your2Cents, but if I am understanding all the changes correctly, Toluna will now take over and include these dollars in their future payments to me. That is if I qualify for a survey or two in order to accumulate enough points for a payout.

No use worrying, lets just be grateful for the $10 bonus received!

I <3 Opinion Outpost

I received another check in the mail today. When Opinion Outpost tells you they are going to pay, they pay. I ordered this payment on June 27 and not even a full month has passed and here is my check. I ordered another on July 4Th, so in another week I should see a couple more dollars. SWEET!

I realize there are a lot of changes going on over at Your2Cents, which is now officially Toluna, but I requested a check on April 22ND and I still don't have it. Hmmmph. The new site is really nice though and easy to maneuver. Which is a plus. It's based on points though, same as Your2Cents conversion and I HATE IT! You need 30k points to get a $10 payment. I have 9500 points, so it could be a while before I request another payment. :-(

Not even $20 earned

July is killing me!!! The opportunity's are NO WHERE! I have not even earned $20 this month for payment in August. This really sucks, because August and September are my largest expense months and this is discouraging! I keep watching my receivable balance shrink.

At least, for the moment, July cash in is on track at $50.58. I am sliding in just a hair above the need. Thanks to surveys!

Mindfield Updated

Occasionally I will go to sites that have not been sending me any opportunities and check in to see if they are still up and running or if there is any news I should be aware of. Recently I did this at Mindfield, boy were there changes. The site is all shiny and new.

While there I noticed a list of new questionnaires that needed my input. There are a lot and I only updated a couple, but as of this morning I am receiving opportunities again.

It pays to check on the sleepers every once in a while.

Referrals earn me a $1, so thank you if you use my link!

Citi Community

I recently was invited and joined a Citi community. When the invitation came I didn't even think of declining. I find it incredibly amazing that a big business company would even listen to the little people. I'm looking forward to seeing or hearing about our ideas in the community coming to life in the real world. It is a large community and the ideas are flowing.

As compensation for participation they send us Amazon.com gift certificates. Apparently, they do not expire and can be lumped together in 1 purchase. My heart does back flips for the Kindle, but I do not see myself holding out to earn that many Amazon.com dollars, I will probably crack and buy something else in the mean time. Kindles are not cheap.

In the mean time, I am also conserving points at MyPoints to save up for an Amazon.com gift card. MyPoints has already supplied me with a Borders and BP gift cards. The only thing I do on the site is grab coupons and click emails. I am currently less then 100 points from a $25 Amazon.com gift card. :-)

Although I have not done many, I am also completing a few Ipsos surveys and building points there. Their surveys are not the best, but their points can also be cashed in for Amazon.com gift cards. Ipsos offers Amazon.com gift cards starting at 100 points = $10. So, I may squeeze out a couple more dollars in this manner. :-)

Some day I may own a Kindle!!!!!

Five Fridays

I was just looking at my calendar and see that July has 5 Fridays. Where Fridays mean $25 of income generally to reach my $100 income goal. It is kind of like having bonus time to earn money.

Since the rest of the month are full weeks, it looks like today ends my bonus time. I have collected in my PayPal account $26. That means I have a weeks income in 3 days! A good start for collecting, a terrible start for earning. I am not earning a bunch. In fact, it is all little stuff from surveys. August will be income shy, most likely.

Ran into a snag yesterday. While logging into Social Spark to check on a payment due, I saw that on the last day they issued me a FAILED marking for the opp. I have never received one of these and found it highly odd that it should happen on the 30 day of advertising (which is the last). So, I send a Feedback slip in.

This morning, I see it is APPROVE again, but not marked PAID. It was due yesterday. Then I click the tab to see my cash account and there is $49 dollars in there. Evidently someone hit the pay button multiple times. I am not requesting any money out and I have issued another Feedback to help clean up the confusion.

I can not help but feel nervous from my memories of Lightspeed overpaying and ....... well, we all know how that went.

Stop The Presses!!!!!

Big Kisses going out to Pinecone Research. Now that is how to do business! I was a bit concerned when I wasn't paid immediately for a survey I completed. In fact, 6 days have passed. I emailed Pinecone as is requested to do on their survey invites and presto, not even 24 hours later the problem has been rectified.

XXOOXX - thank you Pinecone!

That makes $6 in for July so far and my goal of $100 is pretty much in place! Yipee!!!!

Maybe Pinecone could go talk to Lightspeed and help them. LOL.

June Sales

Well June is not going to keep July safely nestled in the $100 of income range. In fact, I have planned receipts of $96.62. Slightly under. The only saving grace will or could be any survey dollars that are not accounted for until they are received. I have received a $3 payment from Pinecone Research already and that leaves me only 38¢ behind the goal.

Speaking of Pinecone, I am now experiencing a possible problem with them. I say possible, because of the language used in the email notifications regarding payment days, Pinecone does not have set days, and I have just emailed them so it isn't fair to judge yet. At any rate, I did not receive a payment for a survey with them I took on 6/24. I'll let you know what I discover. I'm just hoping Pinecone isn't sliding into trouble too.

June Online Income

June was not an awesome month, but at least earnings were maintained above $100. Lightspeed has still not responded to any of my emails, nor has the account been cleared of the mistake. Yet, Lightspeed continues to send me email notifications for surveys, I just delete them. I find it difficult to do business with a company that does not have the courtesy to respond at all. Since others of you have commented and emailed me regarding the same issues with Lightspeed, I would recommend you do the same and stop doing business with Lightspeed until Lauren comes out of hiding and faces the situation.

6/1 - 6/30 Total = $130.04

This brings my 2009 Total to $ 832.17. That makes for an average income of $138.69 per month. Way lower then years prior. :-(

Earn a $25 Bonus

You should know, I will earn nothing if you do this. I just wanted to share a promotion that MyPoints emailed me.

Sharebuilder, the investment side of ING Direct now, is offering a $25 bonus if you open an account with them. It is a great way to get your feet wet with investing. Using cash that will not hurt your budget. The Promotion Code, in case the link doesn't show it is SBMP25.

All in one place

I have just recently discovered that we can use a cable connector from our net book to our flat television and watch shows online for free, on the eye comfortable screen. The only problem is that I do not have a cable. I am waiting until my Best Buy Rewards from a recent purchase are credited before I make the investment. In my search for online shows I found a site that has all the sites, for free online shows, in one place. Spreety TV Online : Watch TV Shows Online Free shows you all the options. I knew some of them, but had no idea for most of them.
I figured this is a way to save money on buying cable and buying DVDs. This could be a very frugal option for people, definitely helping your nickels making a dollar.

Fabulous Surprise

I have been receiving a few Opinion Outpost surveys. I have no idea where they have been, but I am glad to see them coming back alive for me. Over the last few days I have received enough surveys to request another payment from them! Payments do come snail mail, so I may receive in July or August, but the good news is......MONEY IS ON THE WAY!!!!

Also note on the side bar, I have received over $130 in June so far! That is 30% over my goal of $100. Which is great as systems seem to be slower and less productive and viable.
